Meet the Administrative Team

Dr. Bergre Escorbores

Dr. Bergre Escorbores has been working in education for 23 years and has been an administrator in Brentwood Union Free School District for 16 years. He first started out as a Social Studies teacher, where he taught at the Ross Center for 6 years. Then, he became the Dean of Students at the Sonderling Center for 3 years. After that, he became an Assistant Principal for 2 years at North Middle and then 2 years at South Middle. He then became the Principal of South Middle, where he stayed for 12 years and is now the Principal of East Middle School. Dr. Escorbores attended Stony Brook University for his Bachelor of Arts Degree in both: Economics & Classroom Instruction and minored in Latin American History as well. He also received his Master of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from Stony Brook University. He then attained his Master of Science degree for School Administration from Touro College, and then his Doctor of Education degree for School Administration from St. John’s University.

Dr. Escorbores is a life-long scholar who is immensely passionate about education. It is his ultimate priority to “ensure that our youth has the greatest opportunity for growth, so that they can become well balanced citizens”. Our extraordinary leader has a multitude of other passions as well, which mainly consist of reading, working out at the gym, and staying active in several social and community groups. He is on the Board of Directors for the School Administrators’ Association of New York State (SAANYS). He is also a proud New Yorker who is extremely loyal to his professional sports teams, as he states: “Giants, Mets, Knicks and Nets – are the best!”

"Ms. Marmol has been an educator for over 12 years. Ms. Marmol holds a Secondary Mathematics Education Degree, an adolescent degree in Students with Disabilities, a bilingual extension, and her school building leader certificate. Ms. Marmol believes in fostering positive relationships between students, parents, and staff in order to create a safe and nurturing school environment. She is committed to supporting students in their educational endeavors. She believes that students have endless opportunities and empowers them to reach their maximum potential.
