ART Department

During the month of February, in honor of Black History Month, students studied the styles of contemporary African American artists Hebru Brantley and Kehinde Wiley, and drew portraits of icons and self-portraits inspired by these artists’ styles. The portraits are being displayed at the Brentwood Public Library, upstairs in the Children’s Section, and downstairs in the Teen Services area.
